I remember very well the first Miami Sub franchise in the 80's and this is a big step up from then. Normally I hate fast food joints, but this is certainly different. For one thing the owners were both there and made a special point to be charming hosts. Charming hosts and fast food does NOT normally go hand in hand, but this is an exception. I live on the beach so this is close and I saw their sign for a cheesesteak sub. Well, I went to college in Philadelphia and I'm a sucker for the word cheesesteak. I didn't expect Pat's, but I was curious. The new owner introduced himself and told me about the ingredients, the bread, the freshness and so on. While I waited I did a look over of the place and found nothing wanting. Miami Subs is far above the likes of BurgerFi, 5 Guys and MacDonalds; it's not quite so much the better food as it is the class act of the owners. Their cheesesteak is not Pat's, but it was fresh and really very good. I sat in a very comfortable booth and was given several large, expensive napkins. It may sound stupid, but big, quality napkins go a long way with me. (I will never get over the time a server wanted to charge me extra for napkins the quality of cheap toilet paper at a Subway [now defunct] in the WalMart Shopping Center. I had ordered a sloppy meatball sub, well, you can imagine.) This place has an affiliation with Arthur Treacher's Fish n Chips, I think Nathan's hot dogs, wonderful cookies and other items I will be sure to try when I am running and need something quick. These guys keep the restaurant spic n span too. I've never thought to give 5 stars to a casual place like this, but then I thought, "Well, why shouldn't all of these fast food be rated just as I would a canard l'orange at the P&G Grill?" And this location is an owner operated franchise and WOW, does that make a difference.

Miami Subs was the place you dreaded being taken to after a field trip during elementary school. It hasn't improved much; the gyro was abysmal, but the fries were good. Oh, and what the hell is up with the bathroom at this location? Decorated like it's a hotel lobby, but with an industrial toilet and dusty incense remains on top of the soap dispenser.

This is probably the best Miami Subs I have been to. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are superclean. The food is always great and fast. I'm not too happy about the Coke machine but, it works well. I could not believe how everyone says hello and says goodbye when you walk out. Very clean restaurant. Definitely will return.

I just ordered food through the drive through tonight. I never really expect much in ways of customer service when I visit fast food places. So needless to say I wasn't very surprised. I ordered an Italian sub, paid, pulled to the second window, and sat in my car while I watched the Manager make my sub without wearing gloves. When he brought my food to the window and handed it to me I said "Thank You. Can I ask a question?" He politely said "Sure" with a smile on his face. I said "You guys don't ware gloves when handling food?" He said "Yes we do." Then I said "Soo, It's just you who doesn't wear gloves?" He said "Yup, Just me!" still smiling then slammed the window in my face. I sat for a few more second and watch him tell his employees what just happened and they all laughed. Must be a fun place to work! Once I got home, I unwrapped my sub only to find the bread was rock hard. I mean, geez, you think the manager could have felt how hard the bread was since he wasn't wearing gloves. People like him are the reason minimum wage will never increase. No one takes pride in their work anymore. I created a Yelp account because of this experience. Thank you Mr. Ignorant Miami Subs Manager.

i truly attempt to be fair & look for positive when reviewing a meal. congratulations to this miami subs for winning the worst fish & hush puppies award. AWFUL. look at the pic....it appears that the fish AND hush puppies were pre fried, sat around for who knows how long, then dropped in the frier when i ordered them. after 10 minutes in the drive through....i just assumed they were being cooked the whole time. look at the picture.....the fish has 3 distinct layers. the top batter layer which is completely separated from the fish....the dry fish layer....and the bottom batter layer which is completely separated from the dry fish also. now look at the hush puppy.....the batter layer completely slips off the round hush puppy part. and both sooooooooooooo greasy. why, oh why didnt i drive the extra couple miles to Tijuana Flats? i'll never make that mistake again & i'll never return to this Miami Subs. obviously there is no love in the food & i truly do not understand how they can put garbage like this out.

I doubt anyone is looking up Miami Subs on Yelp, but I'll put this one up anyway. The location wasn't the cleanest looking outside as I pulled up to the drive thru, and the girl out back was one her smoke break when I rolled up. She headed back in when she saw me, and was the one who took my order. Already I'm thinking this is going to be no good. She was nice on the mic, and said thanks for the order, which is unusual for most drive thru places. That helped. The meal was pretty typical. Bread was fresh and the cheese steak was average tasting. I could have gone to Publix and got one of their amazing sandwiches, but I was on the go. Anyway, it was about what you have come to expect from Miami subs. Decent meal on the cheap. I would had more confidence in the quality of the meal if the place had been a little cleaner, but whatever. Minus one star for that. I know this isn't a fine dining establishment, but compared to other fast food places, they've got some work to do.

The Philly cheesesteak was bland and I had to smother it in sauce to be satisfied. Was expecting more from this place very disappointed.

Smallest Miami Sub's I've ever been to. Currently going thru a re-model. Took about 10 minutes to get my philly cheese steak, it was delicious!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
